IT support

IT support for one to ten people.

No IT department, no one to ring, and a customer stood at the counter while the card machine sulks. You get the same setup a large company runs on — including your own service desk — sized and priced for a team your size.

What is covered

Your own service desk

Phone, email or portal. Logged, given a reference, tracked until it is actually fixed — not left in someone’s messages.

Laptops, email and accounts

The everyday things that stop work: a laptop that will not start, email that has stopped, a password nobody can find.

Backups that get tested

A backup nobody has ever restored from is a hope, not a backup. We check that yours actually comes back.

Security basics, done

Antivirus, updates, multi-factor authentication and sensible access. Not a scare story — the handful of things that stop the common attacks.

Joiners and leavers

Accounts set up on day one and properly removed on the last day. The forgotten leaver account is how a lot of small businesses get breached.

Someone comes out

Remote fixes most of it. When it needs hands — dead hardware, a new office, a broken line — a person turns up.

How it starts

  1. 01

A look at what you have

What machines, what accounts, what is backed up and what is quietly a risk. You get the findings whether or not you sign anything.

  2. 02

    A plan and a price

What is covered, what response times to expect, and one monthly figure. No seat minimum and no fifty-page contract.

  3. 03

    We fix the backlog

Every small business has a list of things everyone has learned to live with. We clear it first.

  4. 04

    Then it is just there

Something breaks, you tell the service desk, it gets fixed and you are told what it was in plain English.

Questions we get asked

We are only four people. Is that too small?

No — that is exactly who this is for. Most IT contracts are priced for fifty seats and have a minimum that makes no sense for a team of four. This is sized and priced for one to ten people.

What does "your own service desk" mean?

A single place to report a problem — phone, email or a portal — where it gets logged, given a reference and tracked until it is fixed. The same thing a large company has, without the department. You are not relying on catching someone on WhatsApp.

How quickly do things get fixed?

Most things are fixed remotely, and where possible the same day. We agree response times with you in writing rather than leaving it vague, and we tell you what it was afterwards in plain English.

Do you come out, or is it all remote?

Both. Remote handles the majority — accounts, email, software, most laptop problems. We come out when it genuinely needs hands: failed hardware, a new office, a broken line.

What is actually covered?

Laptops and desktops, email and accounts, printers and Wi-Fi, backups, antivirus and security basics, plus setting up and removing staff when people join or leave. If something falls outside, we tell you before doing the work, not on the invoice.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You get it, in a usable form, and we help you hand over to whoever is next. Holding a business hostage over its own accounts and backups is not a service, it is a trap.

What breaks most often?

Tell us the thing that keeps going wrong and how many people you are. We will tell you what it would take to stop it happening, and what that costs.
